Just a quick note . . . . It is really nice that my husband is on shore duty, That means three years of my sweet husband home every day. We make sacrifices when we choose to be a military family, but the moments together as a family make them all worth while. Wouldn't change a thing!

Hey everyone! It is a birthday weekend at our house sooooo that means not much scrapping being done. If you are ever in the Atlanta area, we aren't we drove to come, I HIGHLY recommend the sleepover at the Georgia Aquarium. It is a little pricey, but worth every penny, from dinner to the guided tour, including a TON of behind the scenes stuff, to breakfast, to more tours. And how can I describe the sleepover itself? WE slept in a the room with the Whale Sharks, the giant Groupers, and the Rays, right next to the floor to ceiling glass! It was pretty amazing!

Anyhow, what that means for you is that the doodles won't be here until monday! So, in the meantime, I am posting the freebie from my other site on here until Monday! It is Template #10 and all of them are free on my other website . . . . the link is below if want the rest of them!

I have decided to give up on this blog. For a couple of reasons actually . . . . I just don't have a lot of time to design full kits and to be honest I never really cared for the name. I originally started this blog with a friend and after a falling out, took it over myself. So I have decided to start a blog that specializes in Templates. I have GOT to get my own albums done. As I finish a page, I am converting them to templates. My new blog is called Kinley Scraps the link is below. Until I get picked up by Digifree and Craft Crave I will post my new stuff on both blogs.

Hi all! I know it has been FOREVER! Please forgive me! I have spent the last 6 weeks at my church's sleep away summer camp for mostly, but not all, underprivileged kids. My schedule there was CRAZY! I go nothing done for scrapbooking. I am going on vacation tomorrow so I may actually get to do some more Alphadoodles. That is my goal anyhow! LOL!

File Folder Game

Hey guys! I got a request from "thismomsews" so here you go! This is a file folder game I did for my friend's preschool. Here's what you do with it! Print out the word document in color. Cut out all of the hats and separate them into two sets. One will get glued on a file folder and the other one gets matched to it. The picture with the title on it goes on the front of the file folder. The small rectangle with the title goes on the file folder tab and the small rectangle with the directions on it goes on the back of the file folder game. You may want to laminate the pieces so they don't get too beat up.

Here you go guys! These images all begin with the letter B. I hope you find lots of uses for them! I think I am going to use them to make a set of flash cards for the Daycare center I work with! I am going to put the kid's faces on the back with the name of the daycare center and the pictures on the other side. It will be a great way to introduce the letters one at a time.

Long time No See! New Freebie!

OK, I know it has been a REALLY long time. I have been really busy and in a bit of a funk lately. My husband is headed out to the sandbox soon so I am spending as much time with him as possible. I have also been volunteering at my church's preschool. My best friend is the director and we have been busy working on a curriculum for her teachers. I have discovered the joy of File Folder games, fun hands-on activities that teach kids a specific skill in a fun way. I have been using my scrapbooking skills to make unique file folder games for her pre-school. (If you want to see them, let me know and I will post a few of them!) Anyhow, I thought you guys may be able to use the graphics I have been using to make my file folder games to make scrapbook supplies! Over the next few weeks, I will be posting black and white, clip art images that I am pretty sure are royalty free. They have either been made by me, downloaded from royalty free websites, or scanned from old coloring books around my house that have no copyright information. So feel free to use them however you wish. I named the kit after my youngest daughter and this is the first part of 26.

This website does a monthly newsletter that shares photoshop tips and Paint Shop Pro tips. It includes pictures and LOTS of freebies!

I bought one the other day and ran it, when I discovered a problem with it I e-mailed the owner and the lovely lady, e-mailed me right back! When I began creating scrapbook kits, I often found myself wondering, "How did they do that." So, as I learned how to create things I created a tutorial on how I made them in Photoshop Elements 6. It seems that some designers treat the creation of these items as some kind of secret. When I discovered how easy it was to create some of these things, I decided to share the steps for creation with you!

The previous post has 32 tutorials in it. This post includes 15 CU overlays as well as the tutorial on how I made the overlays from fabric.

I got a bunch of the scans I did this morning done! I converted them to overlays for you. I also included the tutorial on how I made them.

OK, I officially HATE photobucket! The have apparently changed the way they monitor your bandwidth usage. I now have to go back and change all of my links! I was working on some more overlays for you, but now I have to fix this first so that I don't lose all of my previews! Be back soon!!!!

EDIT: 12:00 All Links are fixed and checked! Enjoy! It only took me an hour and a half to redo ALL of the links! Yeah me! Now I can go back to scanning my daughter's clothes to make overlays! I will include a tutorial on how I made them!

OK, so photobucket messed up my account. And since they refuse to reset my bandwidth allotment, even though the mistake is theirs, I had to completely redo my entire blog! None of my links worked anymore and I had to re-upload everything! It is going to take some time for me to get everything back up.
